The Company

Ingeconómica is a company formed by a group of experts in the field of economic engineering that carry out research and consultancy services. It was created in 1982 by the economist Gustavo Ibáñez Vásquez, and experts from various disciplines with a vast working experience were incorporated as staff.

Gustavo Ibáñez Vásquez. "Ingeniero Comercial" from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Chile. Graduated in 1972.

Before joining the company he acted as Planing Manager for Lan Chile S.A. and Ladeco S.A.

Professor of Project Evaluation at the Industrial Engineering Department of Universidad de Chile.

Professor of Project Evaluation and Economy of Universidad Federico Santa María.

Mr. Ibáñez is Ingeconomica´s main shareholder.

Juan Carlos Vilchez Pardo. Industrial Civil Engineer from Universidad de Chile. Graduated in 1997.

Professor of Statistics and Operations Research of the Instituto Profesional de Providencia.

Ingeconómica has technical support from associated specialized consultancy services and re-known specialists.

Over the years some of our clients in private sector have been, Lan Chile, Ladeco, Compañía Minera del Pacífico, Comisión Nacional de Energía, Arce Reciné y Asociados, CIS, SECTRA and Electroandina.
